Trauma Fundamentals to Enhance BSP Skills

Successful trauma treatment requires a fundamental knowledge of TRAUMA and a POWERFUL MODALITY. This training is designed to assist Brainspotting practitioners with strengthening their fundamental trauma knowledge and skill competencies to enhance BSP’s full potential to facilitate deep and lasting healing and foster expansive possibility.

Trauma is complex. Treating survivors of trauma is more complex. This training concentrates on fundamental trauma competencies to support BSP practitioners use of Brainspotting by strengthening their ability to conceptualize trauma, the trauma survivors experience, and their beliefs associated with trauma. Additionally, it will support a BSP practitioner's ability to integrate the core principles of BSP including conceptualizing the frame, following in the tail of the comet, increasing their ability to embrace uncertainty, W.A.I.T, staying in attunement, and trusting the client’s system to engage its own healing capacities.
