Seeking help is not a sign of weakness. It is evidence of bravery, courage, and strength. NOBODY has to go to counseling - the fact that you've made your way here is likely because something in your life is not right and you are seeking solutions. You're ready to heal.
UPDATE 10/03/23-I'M NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS.
MY WAITLIST IS FULL.
i'm so glad you are here!
People seek counseling for various reasons, but they mostly seek relief from emotional and relational pain. Emotions are experienced and felt in our body and when they are out of balance they cause pain-real physical pain. This can leave people feeling out of balance, unsatisfied with their quality of life, disconnected from themself and others, and hopeless that things can be different. Let's get very real for a minute, if you are like most people, you have tried everything you can think of to help yourself feel better on your own and seeking counseling may feel like the only option left. I get it. Many people seek professional help from a counselor because they are tired of the way things are, or feeling the way they feel, and want things to be different-they just don't know how. The word "remedy" means something that cures or relieves pain; to restore something to its natural condition. I use cutting-edge, neurologically, brain-based treatment modalities that work quickly to relieve emotional pain and return you to the state of being everyone deserves.
I love what I do! When people meet me and find out what I do, they often comment about how difficult my job must be. That could not be further from the truth. It's not every day that you get the privilege of sitting with people through some of their most challenging times and witnessing their strength and determination turn into the miracle of healing. It is my honor and privilege to join you on your path to healing. You don't have to do this alone.
I use a cutting-edge brain and body-based modality that facilitates healing from the unnecessary, burdensome, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual suffering resulting from abuse, adversity, neglect, and trauma. You will find my style to be open, honest, straightforward, and compassionate. In my office, you can expect to feel seen, heard, accepted, and to be treated with kindness, respect, and grace. We will go for the roots of the problem, work together to gain a better understanding of what you are experiencing and what your desired outcomes are, and get to work on healing-not just coping.
