what is brainspotting
what does a brainspotting session look like?
Brainspotting is a gentle and client-centered process. You stay in control the whole time. We simply create the space for your brain and body to do what they’re naturally designed to do: heal.

here's what to expect:
1. We start with what’s
bothering you.
This could be a memory, emotion, sensation in your body, or just a general feeling like anxiety, overwhelm, or being stuck. You don’t need to know exactly what it is or explain it perfectly—just a starting point.
2. We find your
"brainspot."
Through a calm, attuned process, we use eye position to find the spot in your visual field that’s connected to where the emotion or issue is held in your brain and body. It’s often subtle—but your nervous system knows.
3. You focus,
I hold space.
Once we’ve found your brainspot, you simply focus on whatever comes up—thoughts, emotions, body sensations, even silence. Your brain begins to process and release what’s been stuck. I stay present with you the whole time, offering support and helping you stay grounded.
4. You let your system
do what it needs to
do.
There’s no pushing or forcing. Your brain leads the way, and your body follows. This allows for deep healing to happen—often in ways that feel surprising, relieving, and empowering.
5. We close gently.
We end each session by helping you feel settled, grounded, and supported. Many people leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to themselves.
